Disclaimer

Referral service notice. Craggy Crawlspace is a marketing and referral service, not a contractor, and does not perform, supervise or guarantee any work.

What this website is

Craggy Crawlspace is a marketing and referral website for crawl space encapsulation in Asheville, NC and the surrounding area. It connects people who need crawl space encapsulation with one local, independent provider. Craggy Crawlspace is not a contractor, holds no contractor's license, and is not a provider of crawl space encapsulation. It does not perform, supervise, schedule or guarantee any work, and it does not employ the people who do it. Every job is performed by an independent, locally owned and operated business under its own name and responsibility.

How this website describes the work

Pages on this website describe crawl space encapsulation, how the work is generally done, and what to ask a provider. They describe the provider's work, never work done by Craggy Crawlspace. Where a page speaks of what happens after you call or send a request, the provider is the one who inspects, quotes and does the work.

What happens when you call or send a request

Your call or request is passed to one local, independent provider, who contacts you about it. Craggy Crawlspace does not promise that a provider is available for every request, in every area or at any particular time. Any agreement for work is made directly between you and the provider.

Licenses, insurance and credentials

This website makes no statement about any provider's license, insurance, bonding or certification; the provider is responsible for its own. Before you hire anyone, confirm that they hold the licenses and insurance that NC, your county and your town require for crawl space encapsulation, with the provider and with the licensing authority.

How this website is paid

Craggy Crawlspace does not set, quote, collect or process any price, deposit or payment. Any estimate or price comes from the provider, based on what you tell them and, where needed, a visit to the property, and you pay the provider directly under whatever agreement you make with them. Craggy Crawlspace is paid by providers for the opportunity to respond to requests, at a fee fixed in advance that does not depend on whether you hire the provider or on what you pay. You pay this website nothing, it adds no fee to your project, and it takes no share of the price you are quoted.

General information only

Content on this website is general information about crawl space encapsulation in Asheville and the surrounding area. Descriptions of services, timelines and conditions are general. The scope, cost and timing of your project are decided by the provider from the conditions at your property, not from this website. The content is kept as accurate and current as practical and is not warranted to be complete or free of error.

Calls to this website's number are recorded

Calls placed to the number on this website are recorded. A spoken notice at the start of the call says so, before you are connected, and the person who answers for the provider is told the same before the call is put through. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for what is recorded, why, and who receives it.

External links

This website may link to websites it does not control, such as a government or standards body's page. Craggy Crawlspace is not responsible for the content or practices of any external website.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Craggy Crawlspace is not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, delays, property damage or representations of any independent provider, or for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website or its content, and its liability arising from your use of this website is limited to direct loss. Nothing on this page limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing here limits what the provider owes you under your agreement with them.
